This is a gallery-based project that explores “Willow”, as a word, a plant, a culture symbol and a proxy of gender studies. “Willow” brings us a new font face, “Salix”, which incorporated the topological one-dimensional know into the typeface design. The body of research spreads among narrative videos, sculptures, printmaking, and typographic arts, and finally crystalized as a “body manifesto”, that our identity can remain yet-to-be-defined.
